I Love Britney Spears.

I really do. I pretend not to, but I do. She's fascinating and fun to watch. And I do feel bad for her getting all this ridiculous attention. Why we chase celebrities confounds me.

In a completely hypocritical note, I found my favorite comedian of all time, Eddie Izzard, on Twitter and I am loving stalking him. His hilarity knows no bounds. "We need the Faulkland Islands...for strategic sheep purposes!"

Can you tell I'm sitting in my apartment bored out of my mind? Well tonight is a read thru of Last Chance, then an audition for a play that sounds quite fun at Theatre for the New City, and then drinking till I can't feel feelings.

Hooray for St. Patty's day!

So much fun yesterday!!!

Yesterday I filmed a music video for an MTV artist (who was so darn adorable) called "You Suck". I had a blast--everyone was awesome and the song was good enough that I didn't get tired of hearing it constantly for hours and hours. I got to do a lot of fun stuff and I was dressed in a ridiculous geek getup that involved a belt and a vest. And I got partnered at the end (in a rather steamy sequence) with a very nice (but 18 years old!) boy. Honestly, that part was the most fun because everyone went from being so nervous to just letting loose and going with it--I think my pants came off at one point--awkward. But yeah, fun experience and can't wait to see it premiere on MTV! And best of luck to Kait, she really was a sweetheart.

In other news, I've been cast in a film called "Last Chance", in a small role but I love my scene and am looking forward to our reading next week.

So basically my life is boring and nothing ever happens to me :)

MTV and Things

So I'm gonna be in a music video that is guaranteed to be all over MTV since the artist is signed with MTV records. Only problem is, it's unpaid and they want us to be "controversial", meaning "naked". Not sure how I feel about this, since exposure (pun intended) is really the payment here. I guess I'll go and see how comfortable I feel and the atmosphere and take it from there. Airtime means nothing if you feel humiliated looking at it.

In other news, my dog won't stop peeing everywhere. It's like he's a teenager and testing me with how much he can do before I snap. But I'll never snap because he's a pup. Argh.

I got to be an extra for "Z Rock" on IFC last Friday. What a fun experience. I love the idea of being on a set, and everyone I worked with was awesome and nice and easygoing. Something tells me not all shoots are this pleasant, but I'd like to have more experience to compare, if ya know what I mean. So if you happen to catch the show and see a very believable person walking down a street and ordering food at a restaurant...it's 4 years of conservatory training at work. Yeeeeaah.
